This Gothic Oak door was a group project done by the Sophomore Iron students who made the hinges and the Junior carpentry students who made the door and door frame at The American Collage of the building Arts.

I was in charge of leading construction of the top hinge. I made custom punches for all of the leaves creating a right and left side for all the punches. We made tooling to make the central half round top bar

The door is 7 feet by 4 feet and 3 inches thick. It has 2 hand forged Gothic hinges and 1 hand forged central decretive strap.
